SpotWidgetX - A Widget to Control Your Spotify Playback on Android
SpotWidgetX is an Android personalization app developed by IJP that allows you to add a classic homescreen widget to control your Spotify playbacks. With the recent removal of the homescreen widget feature by Spotify, this app brings back the unique Android experience for Spotify users.
When you install SpotWidgetX, the widget is ready to be added to your homescreen, and it's resizable. The app can launch Spotify in the background, even if it's not active or doesn't have an active notification. Additionally, the app comes with a dark mode and extra playback controls, such as fast forward/backward by 10 seconds and quick toggles for shuffle, repeat off, repeat once, and repeat all.
